Jumeirah’s legendary Carlton Tower Hotel, in the heart of Knightsbridge, commissioned HOBERMAN to produce a special coffee table book to celebrate their 50th anniversary. Working closely with the hotel, we produced a work of art, befitting of such a prestigious London landmark. Marc Hoberman spent a month living at the hotel and captured the day-to-day life – from kitchen staff to bell-boys, celebrity guests, interiors, food, events, art and views. The book also included a showcase of the surrounding area and all it has to offer.Clive Aslet, Editor-at-large for Country Life magazine and an expert on British Architecture provided the insightful text and the book received a prestigious forward by the Earl of Cadogan. The book was launched at the 50th Anniversary celebration and was attended by many high profile guests including racing car legend Sterling Moss. As per the client’s request the book was stocked at London’s most exclusive department store, Harrods.
